About the Project
Challenge:
Create new signage that conveys the brand identity of Irons Oaks and stands out in densely wooded areas.
Idea/Inspiration:
Bright, bold colors that attach attention, while still fitting into the environment. Wanted a wooded look for main facility sign supports.
Delivery:
These bright and bold signs were installed as the start of rebranding the dated look of the Irons Oaks Environmental and Learning Center. The signs are located along the main streets of the facility and along the hiking trails.

About the Project
Challenge:
Create a new logo for the park district’s newly built, premier rental venue. Need to start a whole new look and feel from the facility.
Idea/Inspiration:
The facility is on a small lake, with native plants surrounding it and yet very classy inside. Custom font, simple and elegant.
Delivery:
A customer font was created from a mixture of basic fonts. About 15 different versions were mocked up before the final version was approved. A smooth, light brown color was selected and matches the interior color scheme. Lighting was set up from below to highlight the sign at night.

Challenge:
Create a visual timeline to be displayed at park district facilities in part of the celebration of the PD’s 50th anniversary.
Idea/Inspiration:
Very easy to follow visually with a clean look. A mixture of old and new photos with colorful highlights of major events.

This 5′ x 3′ display visually highlights all the major events in the park district’s fifty-year history. These timelines were prominently displayed at all park district facilities.
