360° Branding Campaign – 2024 NIC Spring Conference
Challenge: Create a vibrant and lively spring brand that perfectly complements the aesthetic of the Dallas Omni Hotel, and spearhead a dynamic marketing campaign to bring it to life.

Logo and Branding: A color pallet featuring rich purples and blues were accentuated and enlivened by incorporating yellow and light blue, resulting in a cohesive and vibrant brand that also encapsulated the essence of the spring season in Dallas. The sleek shapes and lines effectively emphasized text, images, or any focal points required.
The three interconnecting shapes forming a circle symbolize the core business areas that participate in the event: Finance, Healthcare, and Capital Providers.
Digital & Social Media: Social media and email campaigns are crucial for our conference event, allowing us to showcase our vibrant spring brand that complements the Dallas Omni Hotel’s aesthetic. Through strategic content, we engaged our audience with live updates, interactive sessions, and exclusive insights, creating excitement and fostering community.
Event Design/Sponsor Recognition: Event design is essential in shaping the overall experience of our conference at the Dallas Omni Hotel. My creativity has been instrumental in designing the main stage, structures, wayfinding, and custom items that align with the hotel’s aesthetic and enhance our vibrant spring brand. By carefully considering the venue layout, we crafted signage, interactive elements, and a visually stunning main stage that fit seamlessly into the space, ensuring clarity and ease of navigation while creating a cohesive and immersive environment for attendees.
Print: Preparing for a conference involves creating essential print materials like flyers, trifolds, and programs to engage attendees and convey key information. Eye-catching flyers and trifolds were designed to highlight event details, while the comprehensive program includes agendas and speaker bios for easy navigation. The sponsorship prospectus outlines benefits with a polished design, and the preliminary program offers a sneak peek at the schedule. Throughout these materials, I ensure cohesive branding and high-quality design to enhance the overall conference experience.
Video: These videos feature key highlights, speaker introductions, and logistical information, all presented with our vibrant visual identity to create a cohesive and engaging experience.
Wayfinding: When I first started planning events, I found it challenging to share, proof, and gather feedback on wayfinding elements and their placement. After researching, I discovered Genially, an online tool that features interactive maps to display signage visually. I now use this software to plan all signage and collaborate with colleagues, allowing them to interact with the map, provide feedback, and ensure the most efficient and effective placement of wayfinding signage.
