Logo Desgin/Brand Identity – Data & Analytics Conference
Challenge: Create a fresh brand for the NIC Data & Analytics Conference that debuted in November 2023. Unlike NIC’s other annual conferences that cater to the senior C-suite, this event is designed to appeal to junior-level analysts in the senior housing real estate sector who are seeking a more interactive experience with numerous breakout sessions.
Idea/Inspiration/Execution: Using a color palette of greens, blues, and grays from the NIC brand, I crafted a modern and innovative brand identity that captures the energy of the conference. Targeting the senior housing sector, I evolved the main logo from a graphic depicting a building emitting data from the first draft to a more contemporary symbol of a house with data streams. These data graphics can also be incorporated into the marketing materials, banners, and more. The gradient of dark and light blues represents energy or data flowing through the logo, while the green accents highlight the NIC connection, linking back to the main NIC brand known for superior data, thereby enhancing its reputation. The typography is sleek with a subtle tech-inspired aesthetic.
